Cash is the default. This switch changes how invoices post — it is not a display-only preference. This is an election the business makes its first year, changing this afterwards requires refiling previous returns. Check with the tax guy before reverting.
Revenue hits when you categorize the bank deposit as Sales Revenue. Unpaid invoices stay off the books.

Export Format
Data is exported as a JSON file that can be opened in any text editor or imported into other systems. The file includes all metadata and can be used for backup, migration, or compliance purposes.
